Mario Badás Aldecocea

MARIO BADÁS ALDECOCEA specialises in satellite optical and quantum communications, with expertise in optical wave propagation and beam shaping. He has an MSc in Theoretical Physics from the National Distance Education University (UNED) in Spain, and an MSc in Aerospace Dynamics from Cranfield University, and is currently nearing completion of his PhD in Optical and Quantum Satellite Communications from Delft University of Technology. Mario is a Research Associate in optical satellite communication, developing low-complexity optical solutions for next-generation, intersatellite, optical communication systems within the framework of a project supported by the European Space Agency (ESA). His research explores innovative beam-shaping techniques, and optical terminal architectures for satellite optical and quantum communications.
